Visit Canowindra's main streets where you will find the infamous main Street that curves with the nearby Belubula river. Be fascinated by the internationally celebrated fossil find in Canowindra, displayed at the Age of Fishes Museum.

Turn off the main Gaskill Street into Ferguson Street to find another collection of interesting stores such as the Canowindra Trading Post bursting with an array of goodies, enjoy a stroll amongst new and old wares and settle into the garden area for a peaceful refreshment and light snack. For some years now the wine world has been envious of the Canowindra and Cowra region for consistently producing top grade wines that continue to win some of the most prestigious awards. It’s a must to visit at least one of the local cellar doors, so stay local or jump in the car for a short trip through the remarkable countryside to experience the local flavours.
